This fit the bill perfectly! It shipped quickly and was packaged well. My husband put both items together by himself. The wood is very sturdy and does not scratch when you press your thumbnail into it - that was one of my pet peeves when shopping for nursery furniture! There were two minor bumps on the dresser, just enough to be visible up close, but we will cover them with a furniture stick. The color is nice and dark, but I noticed the pulls on the dresser seem to look a bit lighter than the rest of the finish. The drawers are not meant to hold heavy stuff. Otherwise, it's perfect. Because it also includes the toddler rail, you won't have to pay extra later on down the road. According to the instructions, any standard rails will work when you are ready to convert it to a full size bed.
