I used my crepe pan for the first time last night and it did a wonderful job. They crepes cooked perfectly every time and didn't stick. Because it IS a non stick pan, I had to remember to not spray much oil in the pan because it made it trickier to spread into a circle if I did use too much. I purchased this product from a local retailer about a year ago but my kids have scratched it and was looking to buy a new one. They no longer carried it so I purchased a different brand. The Berndes crepe pan was so much better! The crepes it makes are much thinner than those with my new pan, there is no splattering of the batter, and there was never any problems with sticking. These pans are both practical and showy. Our (wife and I) cooking ranges from the simplest to fairly elaborate. Using this pan is like using any fine tool, a pleasure. The THICK copper portion of the pan distributes the heat very evenly. The entire crepe is done uniformly at the same time. The stainless steel inside surface is not non-stick, but a little spray and everything is easy. A fine pan. The only negitive is that the highly polished copper surface scratches easily, but this is a copper surface and that is as anyone would expect. Cleans up well with a good copper cleaner.
