Creative Coops was founded by Mark Hall, a handyman carpenter. The company is located Grass Valley California, a small town in the foothills between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. They provide safe and healthy living environments for poultry. They also help customers become more food self reliant in a changing world. Mark Hall has a professional background in design and carpentry. He originally began building chicken coops in his garage in 2009 and selling them on Craigslist. After experimenting with various conventional designs, and listening to customer input, Mr. Hall developed his own unique coop design which is flexible enough to accommodate various situations and needs from small back yards to large rural property environments. Creative Coop’s unique modular design allows customers the choice of expanding the size of their coop or pen when they want to expand their flock. This saves them money by not abandoning their existing coop for a larger more expensive one. This design also provides for efficiencies in manufacturing and can be shipped as a kit to anywhere in the continental US. Creative Coops products are now sold in garden centers, feed stores, home centers, catalogs and online stores across the US.
