arctic mama from Alaska	5.0 10/14/2010 Beauliful Bell I bought this sound-unheard because it was the most astheically pleasing bell I could find. We're having a house built and the builder put the doorbell wiring right above the header going down the stairs, so I will always be staring at it when I go down into my living room. The builder installed it, so I don't know how easy installation was. But the bell turned out beautiful in every way. It has a crisp clear "ding-dong" of real bells being struck (not digital or tin-sounding). My mom even asked where I found the pretty sconce to cover the bell. I told her that WAS the doorbell and she about fell over. Plus, you really can't beat the price. I will be replacing the doorbell button- but I don't know if it is one that came with this doorbell or one the builder put up. It was a standard cheap, white button with orange lighting. Deane from Seattle	3.0 8/2/2010 Pleasant sound, inconsistent finish The stainless steel finish had several discolored spots, including one of more than 2 square inches. There were even rust spots on the inside, though that doesn't concern me as long as they don't migrate to the outside.
