Corral 40" Round Copper Fire Pit

love this fire pit! my only criticism is that the grate only allows for a small amount of ash build up so that the air circulation could be better. Still get a fab fire.

My headline says it all. The unit is advertised as "heavy duty" and it just isn't. The fire grate especially is not up to handling chord wood. Mine is bent and distorted after just two fires. The grate also sits too close to the bottom of the bowl . A moderate size fire burning for a couple hours will fill the area under the grate with ash and coals which stifles airflow under the fire causing undue smoke and a lame fire. I will definitely be looking for a heavier replacement grate shortly. The fire bowl does look good. I built mine into a garden wall surround. It would probably be fine if you used it for burninng a presto log or something like that but I live in a walnut orchard and thats what I burn.
