Functional outdoor umbrella
JB from Nokomis, FL– Top 500 Reviewer
We're using this outdoor umbrella on our patio to help provide shade in the hot Florida sun. The fabric is breathable, and does not protect any of the items under the umbrella from rain, but offers some UV protection. We weighted the base with 4 large patio pavers, and has not tipped over. It is suggested by the manufacturer that it not be left open in windy conditions. It opens and closes easily by a crank handle. I wish this one came with LED lights installed for night time effects, but it does not.
Happy with it : )

We are happy with it. We buy a new umbrella every Summer and one way or another by the end of the hurricane season it is garbage. It is been 3 months of using and still looks brand new. We do keep it closed if is not in use or if the wind start to shake it around and must get the weights the 4 corners of it. After you take care of it. YOU are going to be "happy" with this nice, good quality, good looking and easy to set it up every day.

We purchased this umbrella to hang over our spa. My husband and I put it together with no problem. But, we right away found that the four concrete pavers of the size they recommend are not substantial enough if any kind of wind gust comes up while the canopy is open. So, we doubled up on the pavers. Then after about two months the pin that holds the canopy to the arm worked its way loose while the umbrella was opened. There was no way to close the canopy as a result and it just dangled. It took my husband, my self, two friends to wrestle the thing down and cranked tight enough to repair it. The pin as it turned out was just a straight rod with nothing on either end to prevent it from working it's way out of place. My husband replaced it with a proper nut and bolt. Now with that fix, it operates but swings widely in the slightest breeze- a little disconcerting for those sitting under it.

This is the second one we bought for another part of the yard! The first look and worked so well, that we wanted another for over the spa! The shade was wonderful and the color brown is great. very secure in it's base and we get some windy days!!

I was worried after I bought this because I read some negative reviews but so far we are very pleased with this purchase. My husband bought four square patio blocks for the base and the umbrella looks great and seems to work well. I got the terra cotta color which is also very nice.

I love this umbrella! It's large enough to provide adequate shade and the color is nice. I had the stand bolted through the pavers and concete, and it withstood a monsoon with very high winds. Would recommend.

I love this umbrella! It is easy to install and covers a large area. I also have the 10'foot round.
"Cantileve" how much I like it!

Great cantilever umbrella for the price. The quality seems good and it seems to be durable and well designed. There's nothing disappointing that I can think of and there weren't any unpleasant surprises. I like it!

Easy to assemble and use, it provides a wide area of shade and appears to be built to last many seasons to come.
lots of shade

Large offset umbrella, lots of shade. good value. Definitely needs heavy weight at base. More the better. My first cantilever build, I find its not as stable as traditional vertical base umbrellas. I'd suggest bolting down to decking or concrete for best results.
