patio umbrella awesome product for the price. have only had it for a week or so, but seems sturdy and well made. received complements from neighbors. free shipping and no tax are a bonus. note: you must buy paving stones to weigh down the base or screw it into a deck before using. |

cantilever umbrella fits well into patio space With many trees and plants around our patio area I wanted an umbrella that could be used when needed, but other wise was out of the way. Coolaroo seems to fit the bill. |

Great purchase for the price I use this umbrella by my pool just to keep the concrete cool to walk on. It does a wonderful job. It is large enough to cover the area I want and even have a little shade over the water. |

I like this alot so far Overall I think this is a great product for the price. It looks great, is very breathable and does the trick. I am a little concerned about the durability of the mechanism/crank to open the umbrella as it is plastic--hope it last the longevity of the umbrellas which seems very durable. I would have liked it in the mocha color but it seems to be backordered until the end of the summer. |

get what u pay for Seem has a tear in it before it came out of the box. Thin materials. Looks like you will need to buy a new one every 2 seasons. |

Great Product - Highly Recommended After much research I bought this umbrella to place in my wife's garden. We have been very pleased with it. The old (traditional pole) umbrella blocked her view of the garden from the patio windows. The offset feature of the new one eliminates this problem and is very attractive. The product is well made and easy to assemble. As with most things in life, following instructions will usually yield good results. This unit requires ballast (clearly discussed in the directions) for stability. The base is light weight but is well designed to receive large square pavers (available at the hardware store for about $2.50 each) for ballast. The finished assembly (with pavers installed) is both attractive and very sturdy. It has performed well in winds up to 20 mph (even while fully open) We have had our umbrella in continuous use in our garden and on our deck for over a year. It has performed well, provides pleasant shade, and is sufficiently adjustable to suit our needs. It still functions perfectly. We highly recommend this unit! |

Good value, nice style patio umbrella We use this umbrella on our deck. It is big enough to shade an 8-seat table. It seems to be well made and is easily assembled (10 minutes). It would be good if the base had an alternative option to using pavers but otherwise it's great value, and looks attractive. |

Love this umbrella I put this up myself and I am a 62 yr old woman. It looks amazing and is so easy to use. I have only had it a few weeks but it seems to be very well made and not only did I put heavy pavers on the base I put a big palm on the pavers that umbrella is going nowhere. My decK looks like HDTV Love it. |

Excellent Product - Perfect for the Deck This is the second Coolibar Cantilever Patio Umbrella we've ordered...and we couldn't be happier with its performance. Extremely easy to set up -- we had it out of its packing box and open on the deck in less than 10 mins. The umbrella bell is large and taut...no excessive flapping around and it is very east to open and close. We have a large sand-filled stand instead of the recommended pavers to hold the umbrella and it holds very well even in the strongest winds. The canopy is light yet strong...it looked like new after two years in the high desert sun. One caution - be sure to lower the umbrella and bungee cord it to its stand if you expect high wind action. Our first umbrella was caught out and even though the canopy was down, the wind it and broke the top joint beyond repair. However, the product is so perfect for our deck we had to get another one. |

Cheap Quality. No Good After One Year Just noticed the top mechanism of the umbrella broken into pieces. It's only roughly 1 year old. Cheap quality plastic parts. I've sent an email off to the customer support folks, but now have run across many many complaints for the same problem and no replacement parts offered. If so, they are really taking advantage knowing so many problems with the unit, and not even offering replacement parts. |
