I received this same set (minus the non-stick fry pans) from my mother-in-law 30 years ago. I made lots of mistakes, but had even more successes with these pieces, yet they still look almost new, and work as well today as they first did! The ONLY problem I have had over the years is the handles occasionally become loose, but a couple of turns with a screwdriver (or more commonly, a knife) and they were good to go! My son has moved out and was in need of a good set of cookware. I was amazed to see the same basic set of Farberware! I have cooked our entire married life with this set. It works fine until you need to cook for a larger group (over 15 people) and then you might need some more of the larger pots. But, for an everyday, truly utilitarian set of cookware, this can't be beat.
