I purchased this Kaiser Patisserie Decorating Cookie Press from Wayfairs recently. I [...] made a batch of sugar cookies last week with it. This particular cookie press comes with 10 cookie designs and 6 icing tips for decorating cupcakes, cookies, and cakes. The box came with easy to understand directions and after giving it a good washing, we were ready to start making cookies!With the help of my daughter, we found a recipe for homemade sugar cookies. After we made the dough, inserting it into the barrel was simple. We were able to make 3 batches of cookies and pressing them out for the first batch was effortless. Each cookie pressed our perfectly onto the tray. By the second batch, the dough had become a little soft and warm, so it was a little harder to get the dough to release from the press. I'm sure placing the dough in the refrigerator between batches would have solved this problem though.We used all 10 of the cookie designs and the cookies were really good!Afterward, the cookie press was very easy to clean. Since it is made of plastic, the dough came off right away. I got this almost a month ago and used it twice to make my tarts. Love them as they were made of good quality stainless steel and easy to clean. It takes some time to learn to use it as it requires an extra flat pan on the bottom to contain the ring as to form the tart shell and extra greasing on the rings is required to release the baked tarts.
