I purchased this Kaiser Patisserie Decorating Cookie Press from Wayfairs recently. I [...] made a batch of sugar cookies last week with it. This particular cookie press comes with 10 cookie designs and 6 icing tips for decorating cupcakes, cookies, and cakes. The box came with easy to understand directions and after giving it a good washing, we were ready to start making cookies!With the help of my daughter, we found a recipe for homemade sugar cookies. After we made the dough, inserting it into the barrel was simple. We were able to make 3 batches of cookies and pressing them out for the first batch was effortless. Each cookie pressed our perfectly onto the tray. By the second batch, the dough had become a little soft and warm, so it was a little harder to get the dough to release from the press. I'm sure placing the dough in the refrigerator between batches would have solved this problem though.We used all 10 of the cookie designs and the cookies were really good!Afterward, the cookie press was very easy to clean. Since it is made of plastic, the dough came off right away. I am by no means a pro, in fact, I haven't decorated a cake in at least 8 years and dropped out of cake decorating class in 4H, however, I found this kit immensely easy to use. My children and I used to to decorate a gingerbread house and had a lot of fun. The washable bags were especially handy if you aren't planning on using multiple colors."..."  Read more

When my husband first tried the automatic cookie press he absolutely hated it as the cookies were difficult to be of uniform size. As he did more batches and became more used to the "automatic" aspect of the press as opposed to our old manual screw-type press...how can I say love comes from batch of cookies?"..."  Read more

I have a very, very old cookie press, with the turn knob at the top of the press, making it cumbersome to use. So, I ordered this cookie press, as almost everything is metal, except the press part inside the tube that push's the dough out. I haven't had time to use it, but I an certain it will do just fine.
