I have been looking for a sofa/console table for a while that had a low shelf, a drawer, and a thinner profile (didn't stick out too far from the wall). This table is beautiful and looks much more expensive than what I paid for it. I would consider myself a high end shopper (restoration hardware, ethan allen, etc..) and always will spend a little extra for quality but the design of this table was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to put it together by myself within 30 minutes even though I reversed the front & back legs the first time. [...] I am going to purchase another to go in the hall upstairs. I have been waiting to review this product. I am very satisfied with my choice. The table is very well constructed, great quality, and the color is spot on. I needed a console table for display under a large horizontal painting. There are only 2 things I can think of that I wish were different about the table. 1. That it had a drawer, and 2. Love the design. Don't love the legs made out of resin (?) instead of metal.... at least you can't tell unless you look closely, but I know. We use it in our foyer. This console cabinet fits right into our existing set and adds beauty to our living room. There is no sharp edge so it is safe for little kids. The shelves are the right size for my DVDs and movies, not too big or too narrow. But I am not sure whether the console is made of real wood or not. And the scrolls don’t seem to be made of metal. They feel more like plastic too me. But it doesn’t hurt the look. I do have one complain though. It is about the packaging and shipping. Either it is packed too roughly or handled without care. When we opened the box, the left back corner is a little squashed. Since it is with the main piece, I cannot have it fixed unless I ship back the whole thing.
