I use this as a desk and all around drawing and production table. It is a well designed and built table. I love the fact that the table is magnetic. What they mean by that is that magnets stick to it through the safety glass. Trays are handy, storage is nice to have. For the price I was afraid that I would get a cheap and poorly made table. I was surprised by the good quality of the product. I would buy this again and I would recommend it to friends. Fairly easy to assemble, but I am mechanically inclined. I bought this table for my 10-year old daughter and she is very happy with it so far. Right now she does her homework on it. I will be home-schooling her in the Fall and we will need something that she can use daily for writing, drawing, reading, etc. This table is big and sturdy enough for her to do all of her schoolwork, plus arts, crafts, and sewing. She loves the fact that it has a built-in pencil trough, shelf, and book caddy. I like the fact that it tilts up, helping to improve her posture and reducing strain on her neck when she spends long periods of time at her desk. She is able to tilt it and put it back down without assistance. The table is also height adjustable, so we can use it for years to come. The quality is good, from what I can tell. Pretty easy to assemble - no problems. I bought a very nice desk chair for my daughter too, but unfortunately, the arms of the chair are at the exact same height as the table top when adjusted to a comfortable height. I love this table and would have given it 5 stars, had it been a little friendlier to put together. I was doing fine until I got to the drawer installation, and eventually gave up on that. But it really worked out OK since it's in my studio, surrounded by lots of drawers and places to stash supplies within easy reach. The table itself is the main even, and I couldn't be more pleased. Bought for our daughter in art school. She loves it and says it is wonderfully perfect. I bought strip led lights and my husband designed a removable board and we made a light table out of one side."
