The massage portion is quite "clunky"; more sound than vibrating action. I have used this on my couch - perhaps a more solid surface behind this product would permit it to work better. The heat portion is about worthless. It barely gets warm to the touch. My plain $10 heating pad works much better. This unit has pretty much been a disappointment.

I ordered this for my husband because the one that he has had for many years made by HomeMedic has about seen it's better days. He primarily uses it in the car when we travel & since we haven't made any trips since we received it, it's hard to give an honest opinion. He does seem to think although it's not exactly like the previous one that it will do the job. I really don't think that one could go wrong for the price.
