Our dog was able to slide it easily from the hallway to the living room so we added double stick carpet tape which worked just fine. Also very happy with the stair treads and will probably be ordering a runner soon. Haven't had it long enough to see how easily dirt and stains will come up - always a problem with animals in the house. Was this helpful? Yes / No
