We have a small living room and the other furniture in our living room is oak. So this table was exactly what we were looking for! It fits perfectly with our love seat and couch. And should we need the table to be a little longer (like when our Granddaughter is over~so she can use the end of the table for coloring or something),we can make it longer,by pulling up the leafs on either side of the table that we want. My husband had no problems putting the table together. What was nice was that the drawers are already made and in the table! One less thing to do and think about. I use one of the drawers for books/coloring books~that way my Granddaughter has her own drawer when she comes to Grandma and Grandpa's house. The con I'd have to say is: that you should look EVERYWHERE in the box for the directions~ours turned out to be under one of the cardboard box flaps in the bottom of the box! We were concerned when we saw the box was badly crushed when it arrived at our door. We followed the instructions given by your web site. Even though it was so bad we decided to keep it and see how it looked when opened. It was remarkable! Nothing damaged but the foam pieces meant to protect the table,they were once large foam pieces crushed and crumbled into tiny separate beans of foam. It seemed as though a bean bag chair had exploded in the living room! Foam was everywhere, but it did it's job because of the way it was packed. Not one scratch on the table or even a slight dent. The table was so beautiful after putting the legs on. The photo does not do it justice. This table is made so well, it will last our lifetime and will be passed down the generations for sure. The stone is artistically placed and we love the color and texture. The wood is thick and strong and the color was perfect. We couldn't be happier. We love it!
