Once I received my French Press, I stopped using my automatic drip coffee maker. You use less coffee and it still makes the coffee stronger. It does require higher quality coffee (I use Illy, Carte Noire, or Davidoff). Its about the same price as brand name American coffee but 100 times better. I boil my water using an electric kettle so its actually quicker than making coffee using my electric drip. You will NEVER be able to back to American coffee after this.
