For the money, I don't think you can beat this burr grinder. It's at least half the price of any other burr grinder on the market, does an excellent job and is very easy to use. Hardcore coffee drinkers may find flaws compared to other grinders 2-3X the price, but it definitely beats a simple blade grinder. Once you set up the amount of coffee and the type of grind you want, all you have to do is press the button, wait for it to grind and dump the coffee into your filter. Blade grinders require you to measure the beans, hold the button and count, tap out the coffee and even release the packed grounds from the bottom of the grinder. This saves a nice bit of time and mess in the morning. The only complaint I would have about this grinder is that it is pretty loud, but I don't know how it compares to more expensive grinders. I'll deal with the noise to save the time and mess. Plus the grinder looks very nice."..."  Read more

I use this machine to make my coffee every morning. You simply add the right amount of water, set the number of cups you want made and press start. The final product is a great tasting cup of coffee that is as fresh as it gets. I clean the pot, filter and grinder area after every use. It doesn't take long, but it's tough to do if you're in a hurry. Everyday is probably overkill on the cleaning, but you certainly should be cleaning that grinder area often. If you aren't willing to put in a bit of time on a frequent basis to maintain this machine, it probably isn't for you. This machine is for those that really want a fresh cup of coffee that rivals popular coffee stores. This machine is not for those who don't care too much about how their coffee tastes and don't want to spend any time maintaining their machines. If you're looking for a simpler solution, I would recommend a non-grinding unit (like the Cuisinart Brew Central machines) and buying pre-ground coffee or a separate grinding unit. As a side note, the machine is fairly tall. This is something to keep in mind before buying. It may not fit under all cabinets."..."  Read more

The grinder works very well. It grinds coffee very fine, Turkish style. The grinder is very easy to use and construction appears to be of great quality indicating the grinder will last for many uses up to years if not decades. I am avid drinker of coffee and have used the grinder daily since I purchased it. The time it takes to grind coffee is not too long, 3 minutes or so at a fast to medium pace. It will give the avid coffee drinker a slight workout encouraging "waking up" before that wonderful first drink of quality coffee in the morning. The grinder is not that big, 9 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inch diameter yet fill the grinder up of beans and it will make at least a strong 12 cup pot of coffee. This is a very good product. I don't have anything negative to say about it, it works great."..."  Read more

This is one of the three items I chose to order and review and I got it because our coffee maker with the built-in grinder died not too long ago. As soon as it arrived [...] I tested it out. I grabbed some beans and excitedly - I get excited about things like this - used it. It was so quiet and fast that I wasn't sure if it did a good job, but when I opened the lid I saw that things were exactly how I liked them. I put the grounds in the filter to brew a pot of delicious REAL Colombian coffee (my Colombian mom brought me the good stuff) when I noticed that the filter was maybe halfway filled. I know I like my coffee strong, but I knew this wasn't going to be enough to make the usual 6 cups, so I added some more. Overall, the grinder worked great, it's cute and the best part is that it has a retractable cord! Little things make me happy and this little thing made me happy. If you only need a grinder for a few cups of coffee, this little guy is the one for you."..."  Read more
