Coffee Grinders

I use this machine to make my coffee every morning. You simply add the right amount of water, set the number of cups you want made and press start. The final product is a great tasting cup of coffee that is as fresh as it gets. I clean the pot, filter and grinder area after every use. It doesn't take long, but it's tough to do if you're in a hurry. Everyday is probably overkill on the cleaning, but you certainly should be cleaning that grinder area often. If you aren't willing to put in a bit of time on a frequent basis to maintain this machine, it probably isn't for you. This machine is for those that really want a fresh cup of coffee that rivals popular coffee stores. This machine is not for those who don't care too much about how their coffee tastes and don't want to spend any time maintaining their machines. If you're looking for a simpler solution, I would recommend a non-grinding unit (like the Cuisinart Brew Central machines) and buying pre-ground coffee or a separate grinding unit. I have owned my Gaggia coffee grinder for about 20 years, I use it daily. With out a doubt it is the best and most reliable coffee grinder I have ever owned. I have not had one problem with it over all these years and I would highly recommend it. I would say once you own one not only will you never need to buy another grinder but you will thoroughly enjoy it's performance, reliability and the quality of the grind you select or various purposes."..."  Read more

I use this grinder daily, and unlike all other grinders I've had it is exceptionally clean. You don't have to worry about coffee grounds and dust getting everywhere. The quality of grinding seems excellent at the three basic settings that I use - fine for expresso, medium for drip, and course for french press. The 20 second limit (with a five minute rest period in between) could be a deal killer for some. It's not a problem for me since I don't grind up a bunch of coffee in advance, but potential buyers should be aware of this limitation."..."  Read more
