Cochrane Thresher's Too Header Back Side Chair
22 years and still strong
Happy Mom from Small town, NY
I have had these chairs with slightly different slats in the back for over 20 years. They have been through a family of kids and many family gatherings, and they look as good today as the day we bought them. I am so glad we spent the money for long-lasting quality furniture!
In the early 1930?s, under the operation of John Cochrane?s four sons, the company produced oak and pine dining room tables and chairs as their leading products. As sales increased, the company began adding to the line by producing china cabinets, servers and dry sinks to complete the dining room. Early American Furniture became popular and Cochrane began using hard maples as the primary lumber, prompting the addition of a maple leaf to the logo.
In 1987, Cochrane Furniture saw a need for yet another addition to complete the home and began producing living room furniture. The addition paved the way for another successful offering in the line. Cochrane Upholstery now produces quality living room products with a myriad of styles including traditional, country, casual, transitional and contemporary.
Through the years Cochrane Furniture has met the needs and challenges of
producing furniture to complete the home and now offers a much more
diversified line. The quality products that Cochrane produces today include
bedroom, dining and living room furniture using a variety of lumbers including
maples and oaks and having an assortment of styles to choose.
