I really like the look of this coat rack. I liked it in the pictures on the website and I really like it sitting in my front entry way. The color was a good match to the walnut bench I already had sitting in the entry way and I love the way the pieces flow together. My husband put the piece together in less that 30 minutes without any difficulties and we were thrilled to get our kid's coats off our beautiful bench.
You do have to keep track of the weight distribution on this coat rack. For older kids and adults, I don't think it would be an issue, but we have four children ages 6 and under and most of the coats end up on the same two hooks. Needless to say, we have had to make a few rescues from under the coat rack and the pile of coats that comes with that. It has created some "teachable" moments, but overall I really like this piece."..." Read more

I am SO pleased with the New Spec Coat Hanger! The packaging was excellent, and the finished product is a gift I am more than proud to give to our son and fiance. I scoured the internet for affordable, but high quality furniture, as we are giving the young couple several pieces to help them in their first place. I wanted something that was a blend of contemporary and traditional and this fits the bill. It FAR exceeded my expectations in looks and the quality is 5-Star! They will have this coat rack for years and can easily move it from kitchen, to living room to bedroom, to suit their future needs. Dont hesitate to purchase this item. The small shelf that supports the piece is large enough that I purchased a bronze colored candle pan, so that they can place their keys right on the coat rack with their coats. The color is represented very well online. Dark rich brown with deep reddish-brown undertones. It is worth the every penny! I could have purchased a cheaper coat rack, but I read too many reviews about the 2 piece that screw together, that didnt line up or wobbled which is what initially drew me to this design, and Im so glad it did!"..." If you need a coat hanger this one is an excellent choice. Solid base, attractive, good capacity. As some mention be careful during assembly to not scratch base with included allen wrench. I stripped mine and used a better one that I already had. It's a little tight. But be careful and you'll have an excellent hanger. This is a tool that has been lost to the closet or back of a chair.
