I chose the unfinished color when I bought this product. It's easy to paint or stain in any color you want, but it also looks alright in its plain, unfinished form. This product is best for kids' spaces such as bedrooms, playrooms, or bathrooms. The shelf is a great addition to the coat/towel hooks.
