Classroom Tables

After hours of researching for the best Activity Table, I decided to go with the Jonti-Craft. At first I was going to purchase a beautiful wooden table and chairs set but then decided on a more practical classroom type table. Here are my reasons: 1. Better value! 2. Bigger table; suitable space without feeling cramped 3. Multi-functional: homeschool, activities including crafts, art work, pretend play or playing games, snacks or meals, a perfect "kids" table during family gatherings 4. Extremely sturdy and well built 5. Super easy to clean; I love this therma-band edging so gunk and bacteria doesn't get trapped between the edging and table, nor does it come loose 6. **Adjusts as child grows!!** for a perfect fit- very Montessori. I purchased a 10" chair and will get the 12" in a few more years. My son is 2 and half years old and I plan to use this table throughout the elementry years. 7. I use this Activity Table, in my Family Daycare Home. Since space is limited, this table is perfect! Eight children/toddlers, can seat comfortably with plenty of space to work independently on activities. It would have been nice, if the table folded, but I knew it didn't when I purchased it. I had a similar wood-made round table. I turned by heart to this one. It is sturdy and steady. The quality is even better than my office table. The color and texture are looking like office style. Assembly is very easy. It comes in two peices, plate board and legs. I used the rubber hammer to knock the leg in good position. Just be careful on the two types of heights: Baby height and youth height. It is adjustable. I ordered a second one, one for child Lego toys, the other for study and reading. The surface is smooth.
