Classic Retro Retro Dining Set in Bright Chrome - Retro Dining Series

This kitchen set is exactly what I was looking for and is a perfect addition to my chili-pepper inspired kitchen decor. The only things I would critique about it is the formica top is not a high gloss finish like the old-fashioned retro tables. It's actually a matte finish, but so far, so good. The other thing is that there are no latches on the bottom of the table to keep the two halves closed snug. I had to install them myself because I don't want debris clogging up the seam. All in all the set is very sturdy and very well made. The chairs are comfortable and really stylish. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Chairs sit well and look great. The table size fits very well lending to the sets value. Chairs were assembled and the table was easy to assemble (four screws per leg). The price is high for what I believe it should have been.

Service Review

The set comes in four boxes from Winnepeg Canada. The boxes are not constructed well enough to survive the shipment. The tabletop is fully put together in its own poorly packaged box. The first two tabletop shipments were damaged with the third shipment (different shipper) making it intact (our waiting period was 2 months). Wayfair service department was excellent, professional and very understanding.

Nice quality and cute, but the assembly is a nightmare! Need to have a good craftsman drill, and help. One person cannot do it. The table has approximate indications of where to screw its legs, but the chairs do not! You need to estimate it and each chair can be assembled differently if you are not careful. Very disappointed that I had to struggle to put it together, after paying so much money. If not the unacceptable assembly, I would have given it 5 starts, because of the assembly 3 stars are even too many. I had help and a drill, and it worked out. Do you
