Claire Chase X-Wide Executive Computer Briefcase - 154E

I purchased this for my husband as he travels extensively for work as well as studying for his CFA. He has used it now on several trips and has commented that the size is perfect for laptop and study books as well as work documents. The hardware is very durable and forecasts that it will last a long time. The look and appeal are excellent; his boss noticed it and was impressed. And, he loves the top and bottom zippers on the back, which can either be used as an extra compartment for papers or as a means to secure it on top of a carry-on (or any other piece of luggage) by opening the zippers and sliding it over the luggage handle, when travelling. He has commented several times how much he loves this bag! The only complaint is that it was shipped to Canada from the U.S. and was held longer than expected at customs.... so if this is for a special occasion, give it a good month just to be sure!

I purchased this briefcase as a gift for my husband. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES it. It's better than his previous case (which he thought was the best at that time). Within 3 days of using the new briefcase I was informed that everything has a proper place. These may not seem like big deals but when you have someone who travels a lot and needs to ensure he has all his documents, references and laptops with him ... this matters. Oh and did I say that this is one of the few quality briefcases, with pockets, panels and is NOT a roller!! Excellent!!

Service Review

I'm not as pleased with the delivery communications. I received several conflicting messages regarding the date and where in transit the package was (I'm in Canada). Support desk staff were especially supportive and accommodating. In the end the package arrived on time (even with clearing the border).

Product Review

This is a well made, very nice looking, and very roomy briefcase. Great quality materials, nice finishing, and did I mention lots of space? It has multiple compartments that make it easy to organize a wide range of things. Computer section has a nice suspension system that looks like it will provide excellent protection. I am currently using a Thinkpad T400, but it looks like it will hold something much larger than that. I tend to do a lot of business travel and need to bring a pretty complete set of documents, computer and computer accessories along for the week - this bag does that with room to spare. Replaced my last briefcase after 10 years, and this one looks like it will easily take me another 10.

This briefcase is stunningly beautiful.. The leahter quality is out of this world.. The hardware is durable and strong and it easily holds my 17 inch laptop. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product and/or brand ClaireChase to anyone that wants a quality leather bag.
