“What happens to the kitty litter that get kicked into the toilet while the cat is learning? We have a septic system, will this be problem?” asked by Artie

"Hey Artie, There are some brands of kitty litter that are biodegradable. Your local pet stores can probably recommend specific brands most suitable for septic systems. From personal experience I would not flush too much at one time as it may cause the problem your trying to avoid."

“Hello, I'm looking at CitiKitty Cat Toilet Training Kit. My cat understands the litter in the toilet area and has no problem going potty in it but she stands on the litter area inside the rim and not on the rim. Any advice?” asked by Gerald

"Hello Gerald. In regards to toilet training, the CitiKitty works your cat through the stages to eventually get them on the rim. How many "rings" have you removed from the litter tray? As you remove more rings, your cat will get used to standing closer and closer to the rim. Remember, all they've known so far is the feeling of litter in a plastic pan so this is quite the adjustment for them especially since it's their instinct to bury. When you catch your cat using the product correctly, I recommend rewarding them."

Sometimes works, sometimes the floor gets it.She has the tinkles down pat. A plastic tool that fits the grooves for cleaning would be a plus. Very happy with the product. Lucy the cat and Lilly the cat's ,mom from Denver CO	2.0 6/14/2011 too good to be true I got to step 2 and cats back at step one. I have 2 cats and when I removed the litter from the box and placed in the training kit in the toilet, I noticed it was being used but dont know which cat used it. I cleaned the training kit out and havent seen my cats use it since, they are going in another room where I still have a litter box. I am going to remove that litter box to see if they will try the toilet again but I seem to be at a stand still. Was this helpful? Yes / No
