This is my favorite pot for cooking rice or frozen vegetables. It is beyond durable!! Once I was boiling water and all of it had evaporated. It was over a very low flame, and I had the lid on. Ply construction cookware also called Clad cookware, has multiple layers of metal bonded together, often around a copper or aluminum core.
