This was so much fun to use! I found that it took about twice as much batter as the recipe in the booklet said and I liked my on a much darker heat setting than they suggest you start with, but I still highly recommend this product!

We've just used the Krumkake maker once but it was so much easier than the iron we used to work with on the stove. It used to take us 5-6 tries to get the temp right and get a good result; with the maker the very first one was perfect. And there was no dripping fat to catch fire! The hints in the booklet were very helpful. We used our old recipe with no problem and look forward to trying the ones in the booklet.

Always enthralled by knife sharpening, Friel included in his list the invention of a truly effective electric knife sharpener that would work on a wide variety of knives, particularly, fine quality gourmet knives.
