I found that it took about twice as much batter as the recipe in the booklet said and I liked my on a much darker heat setting than they suggest you start with, but I still highly recommend this product! It used to take us 5-6 tries to get the temp right and get a good result; with the maker the very first one was perfect. And there was no dripping fat to catch fire!
