Chef's Choice Diamond Hone Multistage Knife Sharpener - White

I use this for sharpening a set of mid range knives. I am just a cook at home, not a professional cook. It is a bit tricky to figure out the technique but once you have it, you are fairly quick and consistent with the sharpening. The final sharpness is better than what I started with but not dramatically sharp. This could be lack of sharpening skill on my part. Time will tell. I have sharpened 5 knives in total so far. For an inexpensive sharpener, this one seems to do the trick.

I just used this to sharpen all my knives. It takes a little bit to get used to...read the instructions carefully. Stage one is to sharpen very, very dull knives and stage two is to polish or maintain your sharp knives. The guides may initially "grab" your knife or the knife may bounce, but with practice, you will get the hang of it.

My husband bought one this summer after I cut my finger on a friend's super sharp knife, and he told us about this product. Our knives are super sharp now too. We like it so much, we bought this one to give to my father for christmas.

Only used it once but seems to do well. Instructions are a bit confusing for a simple product.
