Product Details

This is a solid mount, the wall plate is 19.25" wide, allowing it to be mounted into two standard studs 16" apart. This provides a stable two stud installation for displays in the 23-37" size range. Additionally, some 32" units have bottom mounted speakers and minimal framing resulting in a "narrow" width of around 30". At a width of only 30", the wall plate of many standard mounts may be visible on the sides of the display. This mount is better concealed behind narrow 32" units. This mount will fit hole patterns up to 17.25" wide and 12.5" tall including all VESA standard hole patterns up to 400X200mm. It is made from 2mm steel and can handle displays weighing up to 115lbs. The profile is only 1.8" in the flat position yet offers up to 20 degrees of tilt. The wall plate has a built in bubble level to assist in obtaining a level installation. Installation instructions and all mounting hardware are included. We do offer some larger mounts that fill fit TV's that have a hole larger pattern.

I bought a second one 'cause this model is so compact for its weight capacity (160 lbs). This is probably because it can fit perfectly between the wall studs that are spaced 16" appart. With this in mind, I confidently bought my first wall mount for a 42" LCD, even though the ad stated 23" to 37" screens. I was glad to find the package advertising up to 55" screens (no surprise to me). I suggest using a stud finder and mounting the screws directly into the wood studs (no need for the plastic drywall supports and the holes you drill are much smaller). Elwood from La Quinta, CA	1.0 3/3/2012 Not as advertised When the two arm brackets are attached to the large pre-threaded holes on the back of my 32" Visio flat screen their width extends beyond the width of the wall bracket. I was forced to use the smaller less secure threaded holes towards the center of the TV which provided less stability. Further, I wanted a flush mount without a tilt. The adjustable tilt screws simply would not hold after hanging the TV on the wall bracket resulting in a full uncontrollable tilt downward. The wall bracket was ok, but I had to discard the arms that connect to the TV and jerry-rig my own home made device. Was this helpful? Yes / No
