“Hello. Will this work on a 23" Acer or Dell computer monitor or is it just for TVs?” asked by Heath

"Hello Heath. The Cheetah Mounts Articulating Wall Mount is only compatible with monitors which have VESA compliant mounting patterns. What this means is that in order to be compatible, you need 4 holes arranged in a square on the back of your monitor, with a distance between the holes of either 3" or 4". Most computer monitors are not VESA compliant, so it is not likely to be compatible, but if you check the back of your monitor and find that it does have such a pattern, then this mount should work."

I bought 3 of these mounts and when I installed the first, it seemed to be to small for my 32 inch tv. so I ordered a set of brackets to make it a 100 x 200 mm vesa compatible. When I received those and tried to install my tv again, it still felt too heavy... so I went and researched a variety of mounts.. I went to the cheetah website, and found the mount i received ALAMB which is for 12-24 screens. The one that appeared that I ordered was the ALAMLB that does support 24-37 in screens, however, it seems like the information for the ALAMLB (24-37 )is listed on the ALAMB (12-24) page. so now im stuck with 2 useless mounts, Was this helpful?
