Good Quality Bench We have this bench around our pool. We keep pool toys, etc. in it. It makes nice extra seating. It was easier to assemble than we expected it to be. |

ok looks good, assembly not so good, holes in sides were hard to start despite being supposedly pre-drilled |

Good value, minor issues with assembly The bench is sturdy and comfortable for seating and great for storage of barbecue tools, etc. I read the comments about assembly issues but found it went together easily except for attaching the lid. The lid isn't heavy but it's a two-person job to steady the lid while the hinges are attached to the base. |

Overall Happy Overall quality is good, the execption is the wood stock for the legs. The legs are smaller stock than the side stock and once assembled you may not be able to insert the plywood bottom without trimming. I assembled mine so the thick wood stock was flush on the outside of the chest but inside the stock overlapped the legs stock by 3/16 making it impossible to insert the square plywood bottom. But for [$] I am happy with my purchase. Great storage solution on the deck Super quick and easy to put together. Great for storing items frequently used outside - storage area stays dry. We use it like a coffee table ottoman on the deck. The dogs especially like lounging on it while they survey the backyard! |

Good buy Screws are not long enough for top. Luckily, we had just the right size and easily substituted those. |

a pile of lumber arrived Some assembly required means building it from scratch. |

Very nice benches We ordered 3 of these benches for our rooftop deck and are very pleased. The benches do require assembly but it is fairly simple. The cedar is nice quality wood and we used a semi-transparent stain to darken the wood and it turned out great. One thing to note, the bottom of the storage box is just plywood, not cedar. We are using it to store our cushions for our patio furniture and so far they have been fairly leak free. We just caulked along the inside of the top cushion in order to prevent any leakages and that has helped keep the inside even drier. Overall we are very satisfied with the benches. |
