Got a new Cavalier island hood installed and since then everyday it randomly starts, bulbs go on and off, blinks, fan speed goes up and down. During this cycle I cannot switch it off nor switch off the fan!! Its going crazy. All the money to install it professionally going in thin air! Would not recommend this product. OneEmi from Woodbine, GA	5.0 2/9/2012 BEST under $1,000 Island Hood Product Review Okay, I LOVE IT! Cavalier has hit a home run! I joked saying my next hood would have to double as a attic fan. At 900CFM it actually DOES pull air thru my windows! Most fans are 4-600 CFM so when i saw the sleek lines of this unit and the 900, I thought I will try this one! I walked thru many major stores and home improvement stores and found nothing appealing; but then one stood out but it was only 400CFM. I found this thru SEARS and purchased it. It is so QUIET we can now actually hold a conversation around the stove without yelling! On its lowest settings you don't know it is running! It has extremely good suction. It took 2and1/2 to 3 hours to install. TWO MEN - one in the attic wired it to CODE. It was not difficult to replace my old worn out unit. Just PATIENCE. I AM THRILLED WITH THE BEAUTY and SIMPLICITY of this 36" Cavalier STAINLESS STEEL ISLAND RANGE. With my black appliances this looks great! Service Review Delivery was PROMPT and the unit PACKAGED CORRECTLY - very good and SAFE for transportation to my home. Was this helpful? Yes / No
