Best Value to Price

Online reviews were great and I found a consumer site that said this model was the best hood for its price and better than a lot of the higher priced ones they tested. We have not installed the unit yet, as we are building a house and have not gotten to the point to install appliances yet. Upon opening the box there were several black streaks and marks on the hood. My wife was able to remove with some barkeepers friend and elbow grease, so she isn't too concerned. It looked like it may have been residue from coolant used during welding or bending process. Other than that the hood looks perfect. We didn't function test out of the box as the electric hook up is a standard 3 prong plug vs. being hardwired. Everything worked, lights, fan at all speeds, etc. It is loud on the high setting, but since it isn't mounted we can tell if it may be muffled once the chimney is installed and its vented to the outside. Since we have not installed and used it I couldn't give it 5 stars, but so far I'm happy with what we have.

This is a solid, good looking choice for the price. There was little rattling when the fan is on, the light provides sufficient light, and the blue touch buttons are kind of fun. The three fan speeds are nice, and the highest setting seems to suck all lot of air. The only two complaints I have are that sometimes you have to touch the buttons kind of hard to turn on and off, or you have to touch it in just the right spot. Also, there are two pieces to the chimney that you can adjust depending on ceiling height. Well to make a long story short, the design seems a little flawed. If I remember, if your ceiling is really short, you eliminate one of the pieces. However my ceiling was tall enough that i needed both pieces, but together they were too tall so i had to cut one of the pieces. I can't remember why but i couldn't cut the piece with the vents at the top , if you are going with a recirculation kit, which i had to go with. But the other piece that i had to cut is on the outside of the 2 pieces, so the cut line shows. And unless you are the manufacturer , good luck getting a clean cut to this 14 or 16 gauge stainless steel. I took mine to a metal fabrication shop with expensive machinery, and it still turned out less than ideal, and it cost me $50. It didn't look too bad, but it didn't look 'factory.' If you are venting out and don't need the slits in the top piece of the chimney stack, you probably won't have this issue, otherwise, the range is very limited. My ceiling was 98" if i remember right. I'm giving it 4 stars however because you can't beat the quality of the fan, and the looks, for the price.

I bought this range hood about four weeks ago, it is awesome! Works great and has many useful things like the timed turn-off, the reminder to clean the filters, and the dimming lights with last setting memory. This is the only range hood with 900 CFM under $500 on the market. Installation was simple, and the assembly of the chimney duct was also a breeze. I recommend using rigid metal ducting if you are routing the duct through the roof. I would of like a longer factory warranty though...
Great look and price

It looks really nice and the price was excellent in comparison to other range hoods of this size and CFMs. The buttons, however, are a little tricky. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what will turn It on or off. We have to push the power button multiple times before it clicks on or off. It's pretty bothersome so I feel like I should give it a 3 but it looks nice and was much less expensive than it's competitors

Our house is a farmhouse that was built in the late 1800's. We love the way that this hood range looks in our newly remodeled kitchen. It has modern features and styling, but still looks great in this old home! We are pleased with this purchase! We also bought the re-circulation kit to go along with this so that we didn't have to vent it outside.

I did quite a bit of online research for a good fan for my kitchen remodel. I can't tell you about RPM's or anything g technical....but this hood works very well, has ok lighting, and is pretty quiet. I am very happy with this purchase and have no reservations recommending this. My use of the hood is light-moderate.
Looks gorgeous, but just one catch

Love the sleek design of this vent hood, and it works very well (the vent part) Only catch is that the lights are rather dim and no way to increase the wattage, so cooktop doesn't have the lighting I was hoping for.
Exactly what we were looking for

The hood is really nice and much better looking than having a microwave above the range. I suggest not taking the blue protective plastic off the top piece of the chimney until completely installed. From just sliding it up in place I have a nice long scratch front and center.
Just what I wanted at half the price!

I had been shopping for a Euro style range hood for months. The prices of most range hoods were too expensive for my budget, until I found the Cavaliere Stainless Wall Mount Range Hood. It is a great value for the price.

I finally got it installed!......well! It is so beautiful and ultra modern looking ...that now the wife wants the whole kitchen remodeled!!!....to match it! ....I love to cook ,and I generate alarm triggers in the house from the smoke ......this hood works so well sucking the smoke out to the world that I am planning a lot of indoor searing !! Thanks.
