Love it. I have it on my kitchen prep table and just got everything set up. I will be glad to update you as I start to use it. The thickeness is good the board seems to take the basic wear I have been giving it.
Nice Looking Cutting Board
Janice Zhang from Hayward, CA– Verified Buyer
It's nice looking and heavy as described. It will be good to use it to make noodle, cookies on the board and it won't slide. I am going to apply the mineral oil often to maintain it, and avoid using water to wash the board. Hopefully it will last a life time.
Excellent Cutting Board & Made in the USA!!!
S. Brown from Rochester, NY– Verified Buyer
This is a high quality, made-in-the-USA, beautiful end-grain cutting board. Fast shipping and arrived with a nice dark very smooth finish on both sides. Very convenient that it's reversible and although not that much less real estate than the 20"x20" super slab, it's a little lighter and easier to move when needed.

Poorest quality - not for professionals

Anyone looking for an end grain cutting board is likely to be a serious cook looking for a quality product.Be forewarned on this one - it is NOT for you.Within several months my board warped and developed cracks along the edges where the glue was failing. YES, I had been keeping the board properly oiled and protected from water. In a call to the manufacturer I received a bewildered reaction from the technician along with a suggestion that "perhaps you can fill the cracks with soft bees wax."So I have been following that suggestions and meticulously attending to oiling and drying down the board after every use.Sorry - the glue joints are now cracked EVERYWHERE, large food catching cracks through out the board. This board is headed for the trash. Too bad I could have bought a disposable cutting board for under [$].I am convince this was not an issue of poor handling but of poor construction. And my experience is not unique. Wish I had read the reviews before buying but you can read lots of them on other sites for yourself.
What an awesome cutting board!
Mom of 4 from Tennessee
I researched everywhere trying to find the right cutting board. I wanted one that was thick enough and big enough and boy, is this ever the best one I found! It is very heavy so be warned, but that is what I wanted...was tired of the thin boards slipping while I was trying to cut. Great purchase!
Best block I have ever purchased
linbone from Micigan
This is a beautiful addition to my countertop. It is very sturdy (heavy) and I have lots of room for chopping and for baking..my granite countertop can be utilized for other things...It should last for years if taken care of..I clean it and wipe it down with butcher block oil so that liquid ingredients do not penetrate the wood. Highly recommended.
Great purchase!! Love it!
Joe The Chef from Charlotte, NC
I use it to cut and chop and prepare all types of foods. It's a great product because it's well made, versitile and very attractive to leave on your counter. There is nothing that I would consider negative about this product, it's a great buy. Also, nobody paid me or compensated me to write this review, it's all true.
Love this cutting board!

This board is great - it's sturdy, beautiful, and substantial. After a quick coat of mineral oil it is good to go with only minor upkeep. An amazing piece I'm glad to add to my kitchen and display on the counter, working with everyday!
Catskill Craftsmen is located in Stamford, New York, a small rural village nestled in the northern sections of the Catskill Mountains, at the headwaters of both the Schoharie and Delaware rivers.
Catskill Craftsmen began operations in 1948, and has developed over the years, becoming the nation's leading manufacturer of RTA (ready to assemble) hardwood kitchen islands, carts, and work-centers. The company is privately held, and takes great pride in its products and services.
Sixty dedicated employees work hard to insure that our products are delivered rapidly and meet your satisfaction.
