Catskill Craftsmen The Grand Americana XL Workcenter Kitchen Cart with Butcher Block Top
Generally happy with out cart
Naomi from Saint Louis, MO– Verified Buyer
The price is great, it looks great, and it's highly functional. People were correct in saying that assembly is difficult, in large part due to a lack of clear directions. Also, ours came with a few small nicks in the wood and the drawers don't slide quite as smoothly as they should.
Michael Toback from California
The product is still in the box, but compared to what we had from other vendors the execution from Wayfair was great! It was delivered in a week and the price was very reasonable. The other vendor we looked at was a *lot* more expensive plus was quoting us 6-8 weeks for delivery!

High quality wood. No chipboard. Back panel and sides panels are a plywood, but seem a little thin. Assembly took a LONG time. Maintenance using mineral oil is a little labor intensive.
Blake Johnson from Portland, OR– Verified Buyer
So..where to start? Like maybe the three hours (beginning to end) and two people required to assemble (and yes, I've built many things)? Maybe the poor way the drawers fit? Maybe the warped shelf piece? It does have so much potential..and the price here is better than anywhere else....but, in the end, I'll keep it because how do you send back a 190lb. assembled cart??
Solid Quality Construction

Very pleased with the appearance and quality of the workcenter. Was missing some of the hardware (hinges & fasteners). I emailed Catskill and they priority mailed the missing parts the same day. Great customer service.

Catskill Craftsmen is located in Stamford, New York, a small rural village nestled in the northern sections of the Catskill Mountains, at the headwaters of both the Schoharie and Delaware rivers.
Catskill Craftsmen began operations in 1948, and has developed over the years, becoming the nation's leading manufacturer of RTA (ready to assemble) hardwood kitchen islands, carts, and work-centers. The company is privately held, and takes great pride in its products and services.
Sixty dedicated employees work hard to insure that our products are delivered rapidly and meet your satisfaction. Catskill's manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily birch and hard rock maple. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill is proud to say, "our operations generate no wood waste".
Catskill is also a leading manufacturer of exclusive, private label kitchen workcenters for the trade. Their products are described as "high quality at fair prices".
