Catskill Craftsmen is located in Stamford, New York, a small rural village nestled in the northern sections of the Catskill Mountains, at the headwaters of both the Schoharie and Delaware rivers.
Catskill Craftsmen began operations in 1948, and has developed over the years, becoming the nation's leading manufacturer of RTA (ready to assemble) hardwood kitchen islands, carts, and work-centers. The company is privately held, and takes great pride in its products and services.
Sixty dedicated employees work hard to insure that our products are delivered rapidly and meet your satisfaction. Catskill's manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily birch and hard rock maple. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill is proud to say, "our operations generate no wood waste".
Catskill is also a leading manufacturer of exclusive, private label kitchen workcenters for the trade. Their products are described as "high quality at fair prices".

Perfect for our little kitchen!
Gina from Chicago, IL– Verified Buyer
We have a pretty narrow kitchen with very little counter space. We wanted a kitchen cart which could serve both as a surface for chopping veggies and as storage for extra stuff we didn't have space for otherwise. This cart is perfect for our needs. The butcher block is sturdy, but if you don't want to mar the nice look, I would recommend chopping your veggies on a separate cutting board on the surface. We keep recipe books, matches, and grocery lists in the pull out drawer, and spices in the doored cabinet part. The wheels roll easily and the cart's ability to move allows me to move efficiently throughout the kitchen. Building the unit was pretty easy and self-explanatory. It's mostly solid wood, although the panel of particle board did split a little when putting in the screws. It feels solid for what we need it for, and I'm thrilled with the purchase!
Great value. Very useful!

I've had this mobile island for a little over a month now, and I use it every day. It is the perfect addition to my small townhouse kitchen, providing just enough room for meal prep without cluttering the space. It moves around easily and locks in place when I need it to be stable. I store potatoes and dry goods in the cabinet and kitchen supplies on the shelf and in the drawer. The butcher block top has made my cutting boards obsolete. It looks good in the space, and for what I paid, I couldn't have asked for anything better!
Catskill Craftsmen Kitchen Cart w Butcher Block Top
William from Seffner, FL– Verified Buyer
Overall impressed with the quality of the product. Assembly instructions could have been clearer. Might have proceeded quicker if manufacturer had used cams instead of nuts and bolts in the main connection areas. The unit appears to be very solid and makes a needed addition to a small kitchen. Recommended.

This cart was just what I was looking for. Ordering was easy and secure. The delivery was quick and the product arrived as scheduled. Assembly was easy with the help of the video on the website. Very satisfied when it was all together and in use! If I needed another one I would order without hesitation!!

Once one gets it together, it is awesome nice. Made of real wood from the USA, thats very rare. It gives you a good feeling just knowing that. The materials are good quality hard wood. The directions are horrible to say the least. When you get to putting on the doors there are no directions for that step at all. You have to look at the picture and use common sense. It is put together very well. Overall it is awesome nice.

We received the cart in three days. Shock. We opened the box, awe. Beautiful real wood, even the smell intoxicating. Assembly instructions in real english, and uncomplicated. Illustrations very helpful. Real screws and dowels, no plastic doohickeys. Parts went together perfectly. Next door neighbor saw it and ordered a cart for her place the next day. Thanks!

Product was exactly what was pictured. Excellent quality and very sturdy. Was impressed how quickly delivered. Relatively easy to assemble--1-12 hours.Would highly recommend this product. A bit upset with the limited storeage space, but overall pleased with purchase!

We have no counter space around the stove, and got this to solve the problem. It wheels over to the fridge, I load the top full of stuff, and wheel back to the stove. We keep spices in the middle, tall things like olive oil in the bottom, and spatulas and spoons in the top. I just love this, and it's even nicer looking in person than it is in the picture. Not that hard to put together either.
