Catskill Craftsmen is located in Stamford, New York, a small rural village nestled in the northern sections of the Catskill Mountains, at the headwaters of both the Schoharie and Delaware rivers.
Catskill Craftsmen began operations in 1948, and has developed over the years, becoming the nation's leading manufacturer of RTA (ready to assemble) hardwood kitchen islands, carts, and work-centers. The company is privately held, and takes great pride in its products and services.
Sixty dedicated employees work hard to insure that our products are delivered rapidly and meet your satisfaction. Catskill's manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily birch and hard rock maple. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill is proud to say, "our operations generate no wood waste".
Catskill is also a leading manufacturer of exclusive, private label kitchen workcenters for the trade. Their products are described as "high quality at fair prices".

Catskill Craftsmen Kitchen Cart w Butcher Block Top

Overall impressed with the quality of the product. Assembly instructions could have been clearer. Might have proceeded quicker if manufacturer had used cams instead of nuts and bolts in the main connection areas. The unit appears to be very solid and makes a needed addition to a small kitchen. Recommended.

Excellent value. Solid wood, oiled. Assembled it alone in a couple hours, no problem.
Great value. Very useful!

I've had this mobile island for a little over a month now, and I use it every day. It is the perfect addition to my small townhouse kitchen, providing just enough room for meal prep without cluttering the space. It moves around easily and locks in place when I need it to be stable. I store potatoes and dry goods in the cabinet and kitchen supplies on the shelf and in the drawer. The butcher block top has made my cutting boards obsolete. It looks good in the space, and for what I paid, I couldn't have asked for anything better!

I love this cart, great looking and not too difficult to assemble, it's serving as a coffee cart in my kitchen, plenty of room to hold coffee maker, cups, and all other supplies. The quality of these carts is exceptional, all made of real wood.

Very nicely constructed and all pieces went together with no problems.

We have no counter space around the stove, and got this to solve the problem. It wheels over to the fridge, I load the top full of stuff, and wheel back to the stove. We keep spices in the middle, tall things like olive oil in the bottom, and spatulas and spoons in the top. I just love this, and it's even nicer looking in person than it is in the picture. Not that hard to put together either.

Hard to assemble because directions were not clear at some points. Did not realize I would be getting a wood cabinet made with particle board, pieces of which crumbled off near the bottom area when the casters were inserted. If I did not need something right away, I would have returned it. Although it looks good it is basically poorly made..

Nice looking and perfect size for our use. This would be a great cart for someone with a small kitchen area.
