Catskill Craftsmen is located in Stamford, New York, a small rural village nestled in the northern sections of the Catskill Mountains, at the headwaters of both the Schoharie and Delaware rivers.
Catskill Craftsmen began operations in 1948, and has developed over the years, becoming the nation's leading manufacturer of RTA (ready to assemble) hardwood kitchen islands, carts, and work-centers. The company is privately held, and takes great pride in its products and services.
Sixty dedicated employees work hard to insure that our products are delivered rapidly and meet your satisfaction. Catskill's manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily birch and hard rock maple. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill is proud to say, "our operations generate no wood waste".
Catskill is also a leading manufacturer of exclusive, private label kitchen workcenters for the trade. Their products are described as "high quality at fair prices".

Kitchen Cart. This replaced the one lost in Sandy

My kitchen Cart is sturdy. It is all wood - no particle board or other wood substitutes. The doors and drawers open and close well. The instructions that came with it for assembly were clear, and complete. The only negative is that the wood grain and color on the doors are different. One is darker, and has a more prominent grain, while the other is lighter, with a finer wood grain. I'm proud to say that I assembled it myself, and I am a 76 year old woman.

I was very surprised in the quality of this cart because of the price. This cart is very sturdy & It was fairly easy to put together and the overall look is great. I did not choose to stain or paint it but I'm sure you could.

It is just what we wanted. We had a couple pieces missing which you could call to get but of course my husband had something that would work so he could finish putting it together. Good quality wood.

Got my cabinet and it was heavy as all get out. I really do like the piece, was only missing one thing and that was the little magnet plate, only had 1 and should have been 2. Cabinet was as pretty as the pictures and am really please at it for the price. ONE THING THE DIRECTIONS NEED TO STATE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE, DON'T TIGHTEN ANYTHING UNTIL EVERYTHING IS TOGETHER.
Great asset to any kitchen.

I was not pleased that assembly was required. It went together easily and it really is esthetically nice. It fits into the space I wanted it to well. It is very roomy inside. I was surprised how much space was in there. And the shelf inside was an unexpected bonus.

This cart is of good quality however assembly is not for the beginner! Instruct ions are not the best and the weight makes it difficult for a small person or us seniors to handle!
