Catskill Craftsmen is located in Stamford, New York, a small rural village nestled in the northern sections of the Catskill Mountains, at the headwaters of both the Schoharie and Delaware rivers.
Catskill Craftsmen began operations in 1948, and has developed over the years, becoming the nation's leading manufacturer of RTA (ready to assemble) hardwood kitchen islands, carts, and work-centers. The company is privately held, and takes great pride in its products and services.
Sixty dedicated employees work hard to insure that our products are delivered rapidly and meet your satisfaction. Catskill's manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily birch and hard rock maple. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill is proud to say, "our operations generate no wood waste".
Catskill is also a leading manufacturer of exclusive, private label kitchen workcenters for the trade. Their products are described as "high quality at fair prices".

Very nice item. Very sturdy and not at all wobbly.
Very pleased but assembly is not simple

I very much like this kitchen cart and am happy with my purchase. Assembly was not simple, as noted by at least one other reviewer. This was complicated by the holes being incorrectly drilled in at least one piece...I examined this over and over to ensure I wasn't wrong but, after a lot of deliberation and re-reading of the instructions, I decided I was right and simply redrilled the holes where they should have been based on the instructions. I should acknowledge though that I am not very handy so I still could have been the source of the problem. The resulting cart though is solid and beautiful and fits exactly what I was looking for. Would get 5 stars if not for the assembly issue.

This butcher block is very well made and looks great. Easily assembled and is very versatile, with the rollers in place. Received prompt shipment and had it assembled and ready for a great Christmas gift in no time!

This is a real hardwood butcher block cart. Very functional, a great height for food preparation. It's as sturdy as the picture suggests. The price was a little on the high end [...], yet the quality of this item is worth the money.

Quality product. Very sturdy. Assembly instructions a bit confusing but it only took my husband and I a little over an hour to put together. The two shelves are great but I ordered another so mine now has three. Amble space to store my baking sheets and cutting boards. I highly recommend and would purchase again!
I would buy this manufacturer's product

I assembled the table on a pair of sawhorses with 2 x 4's across them and a furniture pad on top-easier to work at waist level. Assembly instructions are somewhat vague on the "Glide Support Brace" --assemble with the predrilled -holes upward-in direction of the Butcher Block Top. I attached the heavy Butcher Block Top with the "L" brackets attached to the underside with the bottom portion of the table in the upright position-the screws that were supplied to attach the top to the base are somewhat small and I did not trust inverting the table to the upright position with top attched.-I takes two people to do this. Takes about two hours to assemble. Everything fit like a glove
