Excellent quality. Can be used for cheese and cold cut presentation when serving. Love the indentations at the side for easy handling as well as the feet keep the block off surfaces.

Simply amazing...I've been dealing with those weak "fly around" cutting boards for years, I finally broke down and got something hefty and I'm so thrilled with it! Great quality and rediculous value for the money! Don't even hesitate on this one!

This product is perfect for our needs.

In our new-to-us condo, the counter tops are ceramic tile...not great for chopping! We bought two Catskill Craftsmen chopping blocks (his and hers, although we switch around a lot), and they make cooking in our not-so-user-friendly kitchen much more manageable. The only thing I would change is the color of the wood; we would like a lighter wood, e.g. maple.
Very nice product

A must-have tool for every kitchen

I use my new chopping block everyday for preparing fruit and vegetables. It seems that every recipe calls for slicing, chopping, dicing or mincing. And as I try to eat healthier, the chopping block makes it easier. I actually *want* to use it more often because it is such a professional tool. It is study and solidly built. It stays put on my granite counter-top.
Catskill Craftsmen is located in Stamford, New York, a small rural village nestled in the northern sections of the Catskill Mountains, at the headwaters of both the Schoharie and Delaware rivers.
Catskill Craftsmen began operations in 1948, and has developed over the years, becoming the nation's leading manufacturer of RTA (ready to assemble) hardwood kitchen islands, carts, and work-centers. The company is privately held, and takes great pride in its products and services.
Sixty dedicated employees work hard to insure that our products are delivered rapidly and meet your satisfaction. Catskill's manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily birch and hard rock maple. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill is proud to say, "our operations generate no wood waste".
Catskill is also a leading manufacturer of exclusive, private label kitchen workcenters for the trade. Their products are described as "high quality at fair prices".
