Looks fantastic, but... ... this was one of the more challenging assembly jobs I've attempted, particularly given one of the six screws used to attach the handles was about 18 shorter than the others (necessitating a run to the hardware store), one of the wooden guides for the leaf bars was cut wrong (and had to be sanded), and the screw positions for the top piece are so close to the inside walls that it's very difficult to screw them all the way in. But in the end, the cart is very sturdy and looks fantastic. |

Decent Unit, Poor Drawer Overall, a decent unit. Most of the materials are of good quality, above the usual MDF materials. Drawer design is not great. The bottom is not strong enough, but worse than that, does not slide in at all smoothly; catches at back. An unfortunate design flaw, which is more than annoying...it makes the unit's practicality less than ideal. Instructions could be clearer - micro print and double-sided, which was annoying. |

Wheels weakly support unit It didn't take much weight for the wheels to crack through the side. It took a trip to[...] to install four support brackets to reinforce the corners to fix it. The "L" support brackets should be standard issue. |

Not well executed I needed to move one preinstalled runner for the drawer. It was put on too high and the drawer ran into the work surface and wouldn't close. The two shelves had to be cut down 1/8 inch to fit into their spaces. |

Buy a drill and sedatives I actually like this product now that it's set up. Sure, the drawer is cheap and difficult to open and close, but otherwise it's a good buy. The only reason I gave it such a bad review was because putting it together was so stressful. The instructions were cryptic. A lot of the holes were not lined up correctly, so I had to drill in new ones. [...]And the way the screws are set up makes the countertop really hard to assemble properly. By the time I realized all this, it would have been too much work to ship it back (also, I don't have a car). They sure make you work for what turns out to be a pleasant product. |

Ok Product I like the overall design of this kitchen cart, but was disappointed in the cheap construction of the drawer (moves very poorly and will not hold anything weighing very much) and the knife rack is nothing short of ridiculous. That being said however, for the price, it does what I bought it to do and looks good in my kitchen. I needed something on wheels that could hold my professional meat grinder, yet keep it out of the way while not in use. My grinder weighs 70 lbs. and I did not want to have to pick it up each time I used it. This cart works great for this purpose.[...] |
