I purchased the Casita Fur Cat Tree for my 12 week old kitten and 14 year old cat. While my 14 year old cat is a bit too old to do much jumping and climbing, I placed a cat bed for her on the bottom base and she likes to hang out there. My 12 week old acrobatic kitten LOVES her new cat tree and enjoys every feature. She uses the sisal rope wrapped posts to scratch, which is wonderful and keeps her from scratching our furniture. She naps in the top perch and loves playing with the hanging mouse toy. The cat tree is very sturdy and stands up to all the leaping and acrobatics of a 12 week old kitten. We keep our Casita Fur Cat Tree in the kitchen, and it has been a Godsend at dinner time. The kitten is occupied in the cat tree, while we're cooking and eating, and keeps her from constantly being under foot and trying to jump up on the kitchen table. Assembly of the product was fairly simple and took two of us, about 20-30 minutes. The only reason I'm not giving the product 5 stars is the faux sheepskin is a bit thinner than I would have expected. We've owned the cat tree for about 4 weeks now and the cats haven't ripped it, but I would have expected the faux sheepskin to be a little thicker. This was the best thing I bought since I adopted my kitty a few months ago!!! When I brought my kitty home (from a shelter) she was very angry & hissed at everyone until today (when I put this cat tree together & put her on it). I put the cat tree on an old end table, in front of a window, in the living room & sprayed some (liquid) catnip on it & now she is purring & absolutely loves it!!! She's about 10 pounds & it's NOT too small for her. I love this tree for the living room!! I will come back for a full-size perch (for my bedroom) as soon as we move!! Thanks again!!"..."  Read more

I purchased this item a while ago & my heavy weight cats LOVE it.They spent quite a lot of time swinging,clawing & jumping each other on it daily. It does wobble a bit but not enough to topple it or even move it.My cats are 17 & 12 lbs so they do challange it. I tighten it up every once in a while but it pretty much stays the same. This was a great investment- so much so that I recently purchased the 44" Sherpa tree & it also stays put . Here's a couple of things to know before purchasing this cat tree: 1) the top bed is wobbly but seems safe 2) definitely not for large cats! 3) the bottom archway is NOT attached! It's free standing & gets moved around all over the place when cats play! 4) there are two little brown hearts on the bed...cute! 5) very easy to assemble Overall I am very pleased with this tree for the price. It is beautiful & the fur is very soft! My little cat loves it & sleeps in it all day, but my 2 bigger cats only use the scratching posts because it's a bit wobbly at the top."..."  Read more
