I spent a lot of time on line checking out cat trees. We have another cat tree (made by another company) that is about the same size as this one which is also very nice. Since I was happy with that one I was leary about getting this one because I didn't know anything about the company. We went ahead and ordered it. When it came I was very happy with the beautiful colors, just like in the picture. I put the "houses" together myself the evening we received it. The next morning I assembled it all by around noon. I will say there were no written directions that came with it...only a small piece of paper saying "Please start from the bottom and work your way up." It also came with a diagram (no words) of what to do. It had letters for the bolts and posts, but none of them were marked. It also had numbers for the posts on the diagram, but none of them were marked, either. I am so glad I cut out the picture of the cat tree from the box it came in and I used that for reference for the different colors etc. There are 9 different sizzle posts sizes and since none were marked, I laid them down in a row in the order of their sizes. Anyway, I finally got it together and if I can do it (I'm 60) anyone should be able to. It's lovely and I am extremely happy with it."..."  Read more

I love this kitty mansion. Super easy to construct. Nicely made. I thought my cat would love it because of its height. She's 13 and still really active, but perhaps her climbing days are over. She wasn't comfortable being so high up, and the overall large scale seemed to scare her. But here's the coolest thing about this product. Posts and fittings, for the most part, are interchangeable. We reconfigured it a little, removed the higher posts and attached the round bed to the top of the box house, and . . . voila, she loved it. It's lightweight enough to be moved, but sturdy. But in the event we don't want to move it around, we can always carpet a different base, screw in the posts and platforms that we removed, and we have another kitty mansion. Only small criticism is it could be a little more padded. Overall, awesome product!"..."  Read more

We own 6 cats . We've been searching for a cat house that wld be suitable for not only our cats but us as well. We looked but could only find small ones lined with carpet... wanting $!20-$169 and up. We wanted something that would keep our cats off of the furniture & to stop scratching it as well. This has solved "both" of the problems. It was shipped very quickly and only took me 15 min to put together....very easy and very sturdy!!! Our cats absolutely "LOVE" it and are on it sleeping all of the time as well as using the many sisal twine posts. We have read reviews on this sight saying that the 3 upper beds were too small. NO WAY!! We have 3 very large cats and they have no problem sleeping in them. We have the Beverly Hills cat tree and we rate it 10 out of 10 definitely. The Bel Air cat tree arrived in a timely manner last December. I was able to put it together by myself without too much trouble. The directions were not great, but I figured it out in time. The product appears to be well constructed and the material covering the cat tree seems to be holding up very well. My cats have not used the ladders or the boxes yet. I think it would have been more useful to have the ladders covered with the roping for additional scratching areas. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was the one I received had carpet and roping on the vertical pieces and I would have preferred only roping on all the posts like in the picture. I have it sitting on carpet and it moves slightly with the pouncing of my three cats, but not enough that I fear it will turn over. I have a big tom cat and two smaller cats and they love. It is attractive enough that will look good almost anywhere. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase. The price was very reasonable and the product well made. Oh, and I received a nice cat toy with the purchase. Good quality and nice play toy for the cats. CJ"..."  Read more
