But my cat was afraid of it! Gave it to a friend for his cat. Oh, well."

Both cats like playing with these mice and the realistic squeak gets their attention. Seems decently made; so far the tails & ears are still attached."

We are just little kittens, 3 months, old on the prowl for RODENT PERPETRATORS. These mice with tail feathers are the most devious of all. They just sit there looking cute, not making a sound. You need to sneak up on them and give them a WHACK. They make a little squeak every time you touch them or carry them around. BEST MICE EVER!"..."  Read more

My cats LOVE this thing. It's not perfect, but it was well worth the money! PROS: - cats can drag it around by the tail, flip it upside down and sideways and it keeps working - if they leave it alone for awhile and come back, it seems they can reactivate it by pawing at the mouse or pulling the tail, which is cool - 3 cats can hover around it and all enjoy since the tail flips randomly from side to side - The tail is easy to replace, but it's really in there well! My boys chew and destroy everything they can get hold of. I fully expected the tail to be pulled out the first day, but I've had this for months and even when they pull it around the room by the tail, it stays connected to the toy! CONS: - The batteries are a little tough to change since you have to remove the tail assembly and the batteries it comes with don't last long (no surprise) - Sometimes it seems to stop flipping the tail really soon after I turn it on, even though the cats are playing with it. In this case I turn the switch from Play to Demo, make sure it's off, turn the switch back to Play and hit the on button. It does this more when the batteries are going bad - This is my biggest disappointment. I've only gotten it to "squeak" VERY quietly once or twice by almost violently shaking it (yes, I removed the tag per the instructions) and I've yet to see the cats make it squeak, which is a shame since when I did hear it, it sounded cool"..."  Read more
