I have to admit the price of this toy scared me a bit, because i have spent a lot of money for toys on my 3 finicky felines. My 3 cats are all around the ages of 1 to 1-1/2 years old, and keeping them interested in various toys can be a challenge... then i got this toy and i can't say enough good about it. It is sturdy even when my 17pound Maine Coon 1 year old kitty sits on it, grabs the mouse with all his strength, and sticks his paws into the two openings where the mouse comes out and then disappears.I have watched them playing to make sure, they can't be hurt in any way and so far i can assure you there doesn't seem to be any chance of that. I would however recommend you get the replacement mice ( 2 to a pack)as i am sure sooner or later the mouse will have to be replaced and there will be no down time for your cats.If i were to say any thing negative about this toy it would be that you have to have a plug near by, because this toy has to be pluged in, but lets face it... it's better than spending mega bucks on Batteries! That said this toy is very stimulating and educational and well worth the trouble of not being able to put it just anywhere... for example,in the middle of a room. Two of my cats have learnt to press the ON button ( smart Kitties)something that this toy is meant to encourage. I am now going to buy one for a cat breeder friend of mine because i think so highly of this toy. Your kittens or cats will play with this for hours and still come back for more, this toy will really hold any finicky felines attention."..."  Read more

Didn't think too much about this toy when I bought it, thought it cute and price was right... Once this toy hit the floor, the cats have been playing with it ever since!! this is the ONLY store bought toy that till this day the cats still play with (about 3 yrs now).. Sometimes they don't for a day or two but, it never fails to have a cat playing with it at least a few times a week.. Has to be the best cat toy investment we have ever made that is for sure, all other toys, except their little mouses, lost their appeal within the month.. really not sure why they love this one but, out of 11 cats only 2 don't play with it anymore and they are my two oldest cats who prefer to lay around and watch.. I did have to put this toy in another room other than the one I am in cause it can make some noise once the cats get really into spinning that ball over and over and over lol"..."  Read more

not very good odds on this one as far as one's cat enjoying this item lol ... Still I do like it, well built mostly.. IMPROVEMENT needed however.. 1. Hole on top too large resulting in frustrated or an I want it now cat simply standing up and sticking their heads in there and eating treats!! Hole needs to be made smaller, we got a small coffee can plastic lid and cut a small hole in it and taped it to the underside so cats couldn't cheat.. 2. rubber mat doesn't stay on well and comes apart around maze at times.. 3. Base should of been heavy bottomed to avoid the few times so far that this toy has been knocked over when cats pull their paw out of the hole areas.. We've cut down on this occurring by having to slide a side of the rubber mat under the leg of our heavy coffee table...leaving 1/4 of this toy being unusable because of it but, it is better than having to constantly pick up treats that get knocked out when if falls otherwise.. As I mentioned this has not gotten a good review from our houseful of cats.. Only one uses it somewhat regularly and the half part cat is the one that no longer does cause we covered the large hole on top.. Still it really is a nice well built treat toy, maybe we just have spoiled cats that are use to getting things asap and not have to work for it.. Eitherway, I still would recommended if you don't mind taking a chance at wasting money if your cat doesn't like it.."..."  Read more

We have two young cats that entertain each other with this toy. They drag it all over the house. We also bought one for our son's new cat and he too loved it. It's fun to watch them play with it on their own without any adult interaction... but we adults can join in the fun too and dangle one end or the other at higher levels off the floor which makes it a new game for the kitties. Great product.!"..."  Read more
