I bought this for my shih tzus but my cat seemed to like it more...at first! Now the dogs love it and the cat hardly gets to sleep in it now!
I really like the look of it, goes well in my den. This is a *soft* bed including the sides, so if you are expecting more of a formed edge that surrounds the bed this isnt it.

I own border collies and I bought a medium. From the dimensions given, I thought it would be big enough for a medium sized, 45 lb. dog. It wasn't. I need the next size up. The bed is very soft, the center cushion is removable. Even though they don't fit in it, the dogs find the bed comfortable and they lay over the whole bed (instead of nestling inside as intended). I have two small dogs and needed a bed that fit both of them comfortably, had a bolster that wasn't too big, and that was easy for them to get in or out. This bed is the winner. I purchased a large bed to accommodate both dogs. It is very soft and cozy. They love it. I fit a crib sheet over it with some blankets (I clean too frequently to worry about washing the bed), so I can't testify to ease of cleaning, but it is the best quality bed I have seen."..."
