The cat looked at this bed and hopped right in claiming it. He stays in it longer with a pad under it,(foam patio chair pad in summer) or in this case my bed. The small is a good fit for a 8 pound tabby. He seems very comfortable and sleeps warmly in the winter. For a larger cat Please consider bigger beds. Cat is 15 years old and has no trouble getting in or out with the high sides.The color goes well with household furniture. Seems a little flimsy, but the cat is pleased with it, Sleeps the whole night though so a good purchase. The white inside shows dirt quickly. I am not a cat owner but I do have small Chinese Crested (Hairless Dogs.) They absolutely love this bed. The first one I purchased my dogs fought over who was going to own it. They will try to get in there 2 or 3 at a time. So I've purchased 2 more. (And you can even choose a pattern or color of your choice.) A GREAT buy for the money!!!! If you have a small pet I highly recommend this item. All of my dogs love these beds. My first one I bought from a local pet shop and paid over twice the amount that these are from Wayfair. I'm totally pleased with the product and it is the only bed my pets have not torn up, and I am thrilled with the price as well.Once they go in and settle down, it's hard to get them to come out. I have to admit when I received this bed I thought they sent me the wrong one. It was in a box very flat. But upon taking all of it out, the padding is separate and you zip each side in and zip the pillow cover on. I of course had the light blue part on the outside, duh. This is a great bed. My 11 lb. cat loves it, stretches out in it and lays his head on the sides and looks so comfortably. I would recommend this bed. Zippers all look well made and strong.
