JNW from Southwestern Idaho	5.0 5/30/2010 Right part, wrong fix After purchasing and installing the replacement unit, the problem isn't in the wall switch but inside the fan assembly, the miniconductor which controls the light dimmer/programing feature. Next step, find the right miniconductor to replace it and hope for the best. Unit is 9 years old, power surges may have caused the miniconductor to malfunction. Just a guess. Was this helpful?
