Carson DeskBrite 200 Magnifying Lamp

Lamp exactly as described. Lightweight, portable light is easy on the eye, perfect gift for my mom with macular degeneration. She uses it to put puzzles together, liked the battery or light cord option. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

This lamp works great! Nice and bright and it magnifies easily the area that is needed so I can see those stitches to rip them out. This lamp will help me to continue to sew for many years yet. For that I am thankful! I do like the option of plug in or battery also.

I sew custom orthotics for my mother. When stitching has to be removed, it's imperative to be able to see each stitch so as not to ruin the orthotic. I chose the DeskBrite 200 Lamp specifically because the magnification was greater than other lamps. This lamp almost makes it enjoyable to take something apart! Wish I had gotten it years ago. It's even a nice looking piece of equipment in my living room. I very much appreciated the patience of the phone handlers during both of my calls to Wayfair.

It's a little smaller than I expected but through no fault of theirs, I just didn't pay close enough attention to their description. The product itself is still exactly what I was looking for which was a mobile dessk lamp magnifier. The best part about it is that it's either battery powered or power by a cord.

I don't usually post anything, but this magnifier exceeded my expectations. Love the portability and it's lightweight. I am a middle age male and use it in the kitchen to read labels, on my workbench for intricate fixes, and anywhere I don't want to strain my eyes. I already wear reading glasses but don't like to strain my eyes. I use it everyday . I almost bought a clamp model but glad i didn't. The 3x is more than adequate and the small super mag circle really helps out on those hard to see close-ups. It's my buy of the year.
