We bought these chairs for our kitchen table that is in the process of being refinished. [...] were relatively easy to assemble. They are comfortable and sturdy, and the stain is pretty uniform and even across the 6 chairs that we bought. Overall, we are pleased with the purchase.

Service Review

A few comments on delivery and assembly. First, I thought the packaging was fairly light-weight. Although there wasn't any damage to the chairs, the boxes arrived pretty dented and beat up, including internal packaging to keep parts stable and separated. Secondly, in two boxes the bags of hardware had broken and/or been cut during the packaging (probably as shrinkwrap was cut off the spool) and/or delivery process. The result was that my husband and I had to go through every inch of packing material and search the rug for all the screws and washers. In addition, the loose hardware greatly increased the risk of scratching the finish on the chairs. This did occur on one of our chairs, but the scratched area was covered after assembly. Finally, the number of screws and washered varied from box to box. At times, we were short washers and screws, only to find that another box contained a few extra (luckily). Fortunately, we did not have to make a trip to the hardware store to get appropriate hardware.
